I am a Computer Engineer with a passion for technology and innovation. After completing my master's exams, I am now preparing for interviews with various companies. I am currently looking for a university internship that will allow me to put into practice everything I've learned during my studies. I would love the opportunity to work abroad and challenge myself in a new environment (preferably outside of Europe, but I am also open to opportunities within Europe).
I'm pursuing an interdisciplinary MSC in Computer Engineering, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, starting in September 2022. The course, entirely in English, covered a wide range of topics, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Intelligent Robotics, Computer Vision, Operation Research, and Distributed Systems. I also delved into subjects like Automata Language and Computation, and Big Data Computing, gaining a broad foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of computer engineering. The program study paths allowed me to tailor my education to align with my interests and career goals.
As a contractor for an e-bike company, I took on the dual role of Graphic Designer and Developer. Armed with Photoshop and Illustrator, I crafted eye-catching designs for branded e-bikes, including designs for notable clients of the company like Maserati, Jeep, and Kawasaki. But I didn't stop at graphics! I leveled up my programming skills by developing a SQL database and an HTML/CSS GUI, making customer and bike model data management 20% more efficient. I also created a Python-based bike authenticity certificate generator integrated with the database, enhancing customer experience and boosting the sales department's workflow by 10%.

I earned my BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Padova in September 2022. My journey included an array of fascinating courses, such as Data Structures & Algorithms, Operating Systems, Databases, and Computer Architectures, alongside essential subjects like Electronics and Calculus. I also explored the realms of Linear Algebra, Physics, and Software Models for Discrete Optimization. For my thesis, I dove into the intriguing world of neural networks, specifically focusing on objective functions in their training. This blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills laid a strong foundation for my career in technology.
During my time at IPSIA (Istituto Professionale per l'Industria e l'Artigianato) Galileo Galilei, I specialized in various fields, including Electronics, Pneumatics, and Mechanics. This two-year program allowed me to experience real-world company scenarios, where I collaborated on projects and developed ideas alongside industry specialists. My education wasn't limited to theory; I actively engaged in problem-solving and hands-on projects. I also studied subjects like Integrated Sciences, Information and Communication Technology, and various technological labs. Although I chose a Computer Engineering path for my university studies, this comprehensive curriculum provided me with a solid foundation for my career in engineering.
During my stage at Meccanica Piovesan, I worked as a milling operator during my second internship in high school. This experience allowed me to put into practice what I had learned in school, applying my knowledge in a real-world setting. Meccanica Piovesan srl, located in Treviso, specializes in precision machining processes such as turning, milling, boring, and grinding using advanced CNC machinery.
During my second internship at Zilio Meccanica, I worked as a turning operator and maintenance assistant. I learned to operate new machinery and perform complex maintenance and repair tasks on damaged and worn components. Additionally, I carried out small grinding operations and worked on serial production of components, further enhancing my skills and understanding of mechanical processes.
During my first three years at IPSIA Galileo Galilei, I earned my certification as a Mechanical Operator. This program equipped me with the skills to intervene in mechanical production processes, adhering to established procedures. I learned to operate machinery, perform mechanical processing, and ensure product conformity. Additionally, I developed competencies in planning operations, maintaining tools, and safely assembling mechanical components.
I completed my internship at Zilio Meccanica as an Assistant Operator, where I gained hands-on experience in milling operations, small turning tasks, and packaging components. This was my first opportunity to work with machinery, which greatly enhanced my understanding of mechanical processes. Zilio Meccanica specializes in high-quality machining of materials such as ferrous metals and plastics, producing custom pieces based on client designs. They also offer support services like laser cutting, welding, and thermal treatments, ensuring precision and quality in every project.
For my first internship, I had the pleasure of working at Steelco, a part of the Miele Group and a leader in producing sterilization and sanitation machines for hospital instruments. I worked as an assembly assistant, responsible for assembling the internal components of the machines and assisting in testing them before shipment to customers. Founded in Italy in 2001, Steelco has become a global leader in cleaning and sterilization systems for healthcare and laboratories, providing efficient and reliable solutions while maximizing safety and reducing operating costs.
